The first feelings, love triangles, a crazy carousel of dramas and awkward moments, secrets and unspoken words… so many unspoken words — here it is, the vibrant life of 16-year-old teenagers. “Carousel” is a cycle of ten captivating stories, in which we experience the most thrilling events of youth with the characters. Will Stephan and Anna finally go on a date? Can imperial stormtrooper Leo confess his feelings to cosplay fan Chiara? Are Elio's bluffs in the board game with Sarah a coincidence or a hidden motive? And many more intriguing questions. The experience of such relatable characters will help us understand that it’s normal to worry about the future, to feel lost in a world of unlimited possibilities, to not know how to express one’s own feelings, and to ponder questions about what to do and where to go. The graphic novel has been awarded the prestigious Italian Andersen Awards in the category of “Best Graphic Novel of 2021.” The touching stories are created by renowned Bologna writer Sergio Rossi, while the brightest illustrations are by Agnese Innocente, a nominee for the international comic contest TCBF.
