In a mining town lost among the mountains of New Mexico, a treasure hunter has been detained while attempting to unearth mummified human remains. The investigation into the circumstances of the unknown person's death is entrusted to FBI Special Agent... Corinne Swenson, who in turn seeks help from archaeologist Nora Kelly. The appearance of the mummy indicates that this person died in terrible agony, and an ancient golden cross, adorned with precious stones, was found beside the body. What if this treasure comes from that legendary hoard hidden in the mountains by the Pueblo Indians during the era of Spanish colonization? Only the dead knew the answer to this question...
