Wild: A Dangerous Journey as a Way to Find Yourself

When life becomes black and white, when there is nothing to lose, no goal, no future, no desire to live, people sometimes resort to desperate actions. After losing her mother, destroying her marriage, and getting involved with a drug addict, Cheryl reached the point where the abyss gaped before her. She needed a compelling reason to start a new life, to stop self-destructing, and to try to save herself. And she set out alone on a hike of 1,770 kilometers. Cheryl's hike was not only difficult but also dangerous. She had to walk 27 kilometers through a scorching desert with only a small supply of water, undertake several day hikes of 30 kilometers, traverse a narrow trail located over 2,000 meters above sea level, and climb a snow-capped mountain with a backpack weighing 36 kilograms. But what was harder - to endure the harshest conditions or to find answers to her questions? This adventure full of dangers allowed Cheryl to radically change her life, find inner balance, and achieve harmony.
