Cat Stories

The name of the English writer and veterinarian James Herriot, author of the book «All Creatures Great and Small», is known today all over the world. His collections of funny and touching animal stories have been translated into dozens of languages. The good-natured humor and brilliant storytelling gift of James Herriot captivates new readers, continually surprising them with how fascinating and interesting the tales from a rural veterinarian's practice can be. This collection is dedicated solely to cats, which held a special place in the writer's life. Moreover, even the profession of veterinarian was partly chosen by Herriot because of his fluffy friends. According to the author, he has always loved them, gratefully accepting the deep affection that cats reciprocate to tenderness, and admiring their innate grace, unmatched elegance, and unquenchable playfulness — a constant source of joy for their owners.
