William Lilly (1602-1681) - a famous English astrologer who published many books and almanacs with astrological predictions. He advised Charles I (who did not heed his advice) and predicted the great London fire of 1666 in 1651. In his famous... "Christian Astrology," William Lilly, a magnificent master of horary art, presents the rules of judgment "for resolving questions of any kind." The book was published in 1647 and was first reissued in 1852 by the English astrologer Zadkiel, who translated it from Old English and provided his commentary. Since then, Lilly's "Christian Astrology" has become the handbook of any horary practitioner. The translation was made from the reprint edition of 1852 without abbreviations.
