Reader's Anthology: About Princesses and Wizards: Primary School

Thematic anthologies for primary school include works that are part of all reading programs for grades 1-4 approved by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation.
In this anthology, classical works from various peoples and centuries are collected, united by... a common theme: they all tell stories about princesses and wonders, which is why it is not surprising that the book only includes fairy tales - Russian folk tales and authored works (by V. A. Zhukovsky and A. S. Pushkin, L. Charskaya and C. Perrault, the Brothers Grimm and H. C. Andersen). The heroines of the fairy tales are very diverse - among them are kind and brave princesses, as well as evil and capricious ones, but they all share one thing: miracles, magic, and transformations happen to them or in their presence! The princesses and princesses that the young reader will meet in this book often face dangers and evil spells, but good always triumphs: the Frog Princess is unspelled, the Sleeping Beauty awakens, and Princess Eliza saves her brothers, whom the cruel stepmother turned into swans.
This edition is aimed at younger schoolchildren and is intended for preparation for lessons and independent reading at home. All works are presented in full without abbreviations.
