The Song of the Marked

The Ketran Empire is engulfed by a deadly disease. It leaves marks on the bodies of the survivors. Such people are called Marked by Shadows.

Cassia is a mercenary, making a living through thefts and involved in criminal conspiracies. With the money earned, the girl wants to buy medicine that will save her patron's life. But one small mistake could cost her life.
Cassia falls into the trap of King Varen. From now on, she has only two options: make a deal with him or die. Now, the girl must find the cure for the disease, gaining the support of Captain Elander.
The mission initially seems simple: investigate the origins of the terrible plague that has befallen the empire, find a cure, and put an end to it.
However, in a land of ancient magic and gods, things are not so straightforward.
As the disease continues to claim lives and monsters sow chaos, Cassia and Elander will have to unite for the protection of the kingdom. For now, one thing is clear: something ancient and dangerous is lurking in the shadows of this world.
