Workbooks for mathematics (parts 1 and 2) are intended for students of general educational organizations. They are designed to help teachers organize independent work for students in grade 3 both in class (with individual students, a group of students, or with the whole class) and at home.

The material in the workbooks is arranged according to the logic of the course presentation in the textbook "Mathematics. Grade 3. Parts 1 and 2" by M. I. Moro, M. A. Baitova, G. V. Beltyukova, S. I. Volkova, S. V. Stepanova: tasks are selected for each topic presented in the textbook. The workbooks include a variety of training tasks as well as unconventional exercises that spark children's interest and contribute to their development of observation, memory, imagination, and logical thinking.

When preparing for the lesson, the teacher will have to choose at their discretion which exercises are better to take from the textbook and which from the workbook.

The printed basis of the workbooks allows for a significant reduction in the time required to complete tasks.

The combined use of the textbook, workbooks with a printed basis, and regular notebooks should contribute to the rationalization of the educational process.

The workbooks can also be used when working with textbooks by other authors.
