Dad gives thirteen-year-old Lyola an unremarkable ship's log. While the girl doubtfully turns it in her hands, Dad explains that every captain must have a ship's log to record everything important during the voyage. «Are you the captain?» he asks his daughter. This question marks the beginning of Lyola's diary, which she will keep for one hundred days.

What can you accomplish in one hundred days? A lot! For example, start a diary, lose an old friend and find a new one, experience several moves: from tiny Alesino by the sea to cold Apatity and then — to gloomy St. Petersburg. And also — climb a volcano, wander through the Minotaur's labyrinth, see the northern lights. And at the same time, try to understand your relatives, figure yourself out, and grow up.
