The venerable Greek saint Paisios of Athos is one of the widely known and dearly loved saints of the 20th century; he is venerated not only in his homeland but also around the world, especially in Russia. Through the prayers of the elder, numerous miracles occurred both during his earthly life and after his blessed repose and canonization as a saint.
