The musical career of singer Kaylee Town is soaring thanks to the immense popularity of her hit "Your Shadow." But fame has another side. Engaging in an innocuous correspondence with one of her fans, Kaylee is unaware of how it will turn out. He believes that her songs contain messages directed personally at him; he is convinced that "Your Shadow" was written exclusively for him. Soon, the singer begins to feel as if someone is watching her. In the concert hall where she rehearses, an emergency situation occurs, and Kaylee narrowly escapes being the victim, and then tragically, her friend, a member of the band, dies.
