Norway, 2001. The bodies of two boys of the same age were found in a field near the suburbs of Oslo. Between them, the murderer carefully placed a fox. This crime reminded investigators of the murder of two boys in... Sweden in 1993. Only then, between the bodies, there was a hare. In the diary of one of the children, there was a strange entry: "Tomorrow there will be a full moon. I am afraid of the Wolf." The case remained unsolved. Holger Munk, the head of a new investigative unit, is assembling a team of the best Norwegian detectives. Among the newcomers is Mia Kruger, a promising student of the police academy. In the photographs from the crime scene, she instantly spots details that experienced investigators overlooked. Mia has no idea that her involvement in this case will lead her into a world of darkness. Meanwhile, two more boys disappear…
