First mathematics for toddlers. Educational board games for children. The goal of the "Umnica® First Mathematics" set is to teach your child to count in a fun way. The set is created based on the Singapore method of teaching counting,... the effectiveness of which has been proven worldwide. This method of teaching mathematics consists of three stages: object, image, symbol. Classes begin with a visual example with the opportunity to "touch" and "see" the abstract concept. Learning progresses from simple to complex, first children play with and manipulate objects (in our games, these are dragon eggs), then represent them in the form of images and pictograms, and only then move on to abstract symbols (numbers). The games in the set will help the child understand mathematics, develop a sense of number, and familiarize them with numbers and operations with them. It's more than just memorizing numbers and reciting them in order. The child will understand the logic of calculations and will be able to easily count in their head. For this, the set includes five games of varying complexity, simultaneously engaging and educational. Here’s the essence of each game:

Collect the eggs (game with a roulette) – recognizing numbers from 0 to 10 in images of objects.
Fill the nests (bingo-type game) – recognizing quantities from 1 to 10 in images of objects.
Getting to know the numbers from 1 to 5.
Match the number (pair-finding type game) – recognizing quantities from 1 to 10. Getting acquainted with numbers 1-10.
Find a pair (memory type game) – recognizing and matching quantities and numbers from 1 to 10.
Three in a row (complex tic-tac-toe type game) – repeating everything mentioned above, training strategic thinking.
