Developing Coherent Speech in Children Aged 6-7 with Speech Delays. Planning Work for Educators in the Pre-School Preparation Group.

The proposed weekly planning will help educators, together with speech therapists, to organize and conduct effective correctional work in the pre-school speech therapy group for children with speech delays. The planning has been developed for thirty-six weeks of the academic... year (three periods of instruction). Throughout all periods, the clarification and activation of children's vocabulary on various lexical topics will be carried out, teaching children to retell, to compose stories based on perception (descriptive stories, comparison stories, narrative stories), stories based on personal experiences, and imaginative stories (creative stories). All of this will contribute to preparing children with speech delays for coherent narration of any events and for future schooling.
