Poetic alphabets can be different: simple and clear, engaging and cheerful, inventive and witty. "Alphabet" by Viktor Lunin is mood-setting, lyrical, poetic not only in the literal sense of the word but also in a figurative sense - emotional, enchanting.... Here, the letter "A" is not a stork, watermelon, or orange. "A" is August, when the sunset blushes, painting everything around in crimson - it's a calming picture of late autumn. "Z" is not a hare, zebra, or a kite. "Z" is the question "why?", for which one sometimes wants to find an answer: why did the thrush burst into song, why is the earth turning green... Viktor Lunin's "Alphabet" is recognized as a benchmark for conveying letter sound writing. Illustrating this subtle play with sounds (extraordinarily important for a child not just to learn letters and sounds but also to learn to feel them) cannot be done straightforwardly. The artist Vera Pavlova created special unique compositions, sometimes combining characters from several poems, sometimes inventing her abstract plot. All this is to convey the main thing - the special mood inherent in each line of Viktor Lunin's "Alphabet". Alphabet! Every children's poet dreams of writing one. One writes an alphabet about animals for all the letters of the alphabet. Another transforms each letter into a certain object. A third writes couplets starting with a specific letter. I wanted each poem for each letter to be filled with its sound. After all, the sound is the main thing hidden in the letter. Sound is both meaning and feeling. For example, the sound "s-s-s" is quiet, it can fill a quiet poem. And the sound "zh-zh-zh" is undoubtedly loud. It's good to write several lines about a beetle on it, which I did. The sound "r-r-r" works great for poems for those who struggle with pronouncing that sound. Let them read, and at the same time learn. But how to write a poem for the hard sign? There are not many words with the hard sign in the Russian language. Just over a dozen. And here's what I came up with. In each line of the poem, I made sure to include a word with a hard sign. And what came out of this game with sounds, you will find out when you read the entire alphabet in full. Viktor Lunin For preschool children.
