The Gates to the Other Side

Once upon a time, our world became a battleground for incomprehensible beings. People called them gods. Giant, taller than any mountain, they fought with swords and magic. Some gods, the Destroyers, wanted to destroy our world, but others protected it.... The defeated created the Gates and fled to the Other Side of the world, where they truly belong. They and the creatures born from the poisonous blood of the gods, spilled on the ground. I am not a miserable werewolf, as one might think. Not at all. My power is akin to divine. Those like me can open doors to the Other Side to cast the spawns of the Destroyers there. But I am different from all the others. Because within me is strength. Only thanks to it, I once fell into the Other Side, managed to survive there, and return. Now I am in a squad of monster hunters, and I will never let anyone repeat my feat.
