Learning to Write Chinese Characters. Worksheets with Exercises. Part 2

This guide will help you quickly master the skills of writing Chinese characters. The exercises collected here are as simple as possible and suitable for anyone starting to learn Chinese writing, regardless of age.

The first part of the worksheets introduces the main strokes of the characters in detail and contains 100 radicals.

The second part of the guide presents 114 character radicals out of the 214 primary ones for mastering. In each of the 9 lessons, a group consisting of 10 radicals is studied, in the last lesson — a group of 14 radicals. The radicals in the guide are arranged in ascending order of the number of strokes according to the dictionary list "Kangxi." Each radical is accompanied by five examples of characters that contain this radical. Exercises for repetition are provided after studying a group of 10 radicals.

In the new edition of the worksheets, the second part of the guide includes a section with additional character elements that are not part of the classic list of radicals but are components of many modern characters.

At the end of the book, there are cards with numbered radicals. On the back of the card, it is useful to write the meaning of the radical and examples of its usage, as well as associations related to this radical. The cards help in memorizing the radicals and are convenient for use in any situation.

The guide can be used for group work with a teacher as well as for self-study.
