Role-playing Games in English Language Lessons

This manual is a collection of role-playing games and is an attempt by the author to help teachers use the communicative method of teaching in English language lessons.
It consists of two sections: the first includes games for younger children, while... the second includes role-playing games for middle and high school students. Participation in role-playing games during foreign language lessons will help students practice the material studied and develop communication skills: asking interesting questions and answering them in detail and with arguments. The methodological recommendations for the games will certainly assist educators in preparing the necessary materials for the lesson and conducting the class in a group. Most games are presented in several variations and can be easily adapted according to the age and interests of the students.
The texts of some games (descriptions of pictures, role cards, etc.) are recorded on a compact disc. The teacher can use the recording at their discretion: for listening in class with the entire group as an example during the teaching of role-playing games, as well as instead of reading the role card, which will make the assignment more beneficial.
