Necromancer in Apples

An inheritance from a deceased relative is not always a blessing. Especially if it includes a dangerous artifact and a despised gift of a necromancer. My life collapsed in an instant. Yesterday I was a happy bride, a beloved daughter,... and a promising earth mage; today I am an outcast with the black mark of a master of death. My former classmates have turned their backs on me, and among the new ones, I have become the "white" crow. Moreover, one of the professors has turned against me and sarcastically calls me the "necromancer in apples." Additionally, the newly acquired gift refuses to obey, and my fingers weave familiar spells, far from necromancy. But I know for sure: the mockery of fate will inevitably turn into happiness. There is just a small task left: to find a way to rid myself of the unwanted inheritance.
