light, when no one else can help you, call... Who? Him, Harry Dresden. His name is in the 'Yellow Pages'... It's not very pleasant when you get killed. Harry Dresden thinks the same way. But imagine his surprise when instead of a quiet spot in the cemetery, he finds himself in Chicago-Again — a purgatory city, between the world of the dead and the world of the living. And now Harry has only two paths: either to stay here and do police work, or to head into the world of the living to solve his own murder. Of course, only in the form of a ghost. Harry chooses the second ('The Story of a Ghost'). It doesn’t get any easier. Mab, the Queen of Air and Darkness, orders Harry — and he can't disobey the Queen's commands — to kill none other than her daughter Maeve, the Winter Lady. But she, like all fairies, is immortal. Therefore, the task seems impossible. Or is it? And should he obey Mab? What if she has lost her mind? Or is she being controlled by some dark forces? In general, for the sorcerer Harry, no matter where you turn — just problems ('Cold Days'). The series of novels about Harry Dresden deserves a rightful place alongside such a well-known example of fantasy detective as the series about the adventures of Garrett, written by Glen Cook.
