The Mists of Avalon. Volume 1

A retelling of the iconic saga of King Arthur paints a picture of a fading "magical" Britain for readers. Secret rites dedicated to the Goddess, hidden paths of the fae, and the mist-shrouded island of Avalon — all of this is about to fade into the past. If the Lady of Avalon does not do everything possible to bring forth the true king, who will be accepted by both pagans and Christians. The first volume of the epic novel "The Mists of Avalon" is devoted to the fate of Arthur's mother, the rise of the Supreme King himself, and the sad story of how he betrayed his oath. And the narrator will be the sister of the legendary hero — Morgaine.
