Chess begins not with chess

Playing chess is a wonderful way to develop intelligence. However, mastering it at a strict chessboard can be quite uninteresting for many children. The task of the notebooks 'Basics of Chess and Logic' is to prepare the child for classical chess, which are very abstract for children under 9-10 years old. To achieve this, the notebooks feature a fairy tale storyline and use associations with familiar objects.

Learn with engaging tasks

Step by step, in a light game format, children learn to anticipate the results of moves, build hypotheses, analyze the situation, and see the board through the eyes of their opponent.

Part 1

Develops spatial and algorithmic thinking. Teaches finding patterns, develops formal logic. Teaches navigation on the chessboard.

Part 2

Introduces the principles of piece movement, shows how to anticipate move results. Reinforces concepts related to board orientation, introduces game tactics.

Part 3

Introduces the shapes of pieces, the features of their movement, and their value in the game. Teaches seeing the board through the opponent's eyes, orienting by coordinates, and familiarizes with move notation.
