Replika 2020

“Replika 2020” — a collection of articles and interviews by Michel Houellebecq over three decades. The author of global bestsellers “Elementary Particles”, “Platform”, “Submission”, “Serotonin” speaks here in the first person. In these deep, sharp, and sometimes caustic texts, he evaluates current events, formulates his conclusions and forecasts for the future. In France, Houellebecq's “Replika” has been published as separate books three times: in 1998, 2011, and 2020, each time supplemented with the writer's new media appearances. Articles from the first two were published in Russian in the collections “The World as a Supermarket” 2003 and “Humanity, Stage 2” 2011. This edition fully includes all three collections, representing the views on the modern world of one of the most widely read French authors.
