Developing Vision. Learning First Words. Contrast Book-Folder

The contrast book-folder «Developing Vision. Learning First Words» is specially designed for developmental activities with a baby from the first months of life. Large and contrasting illustrations are perfect for developing vision, and later help study colors and memorize first words.

The contrast book-folder «Developing Vision. Learning First Words» is developed based on age-related psychological and physiological features of infants and a popular method of stimulating vision development:

• 0–3 months: can distinguish contrasting images (for example, like a chessboard). Visual acuity increases.
• 3–5 months: distinguishes objects by size and begins to react to yellow, red, then green and blue. 
• 11–12 months: selectivity of environmental parameters appears, sensitivity to contrasts approaches the final level.

By the end of the first year, children utter their first words — at this stage, the book-folder can be used as a basic visual dictionary for the child.
