Russian Language: First Steps: Educational Guide in 3 Parts. Part 2

The guide is intended for foreigners who are beginning to learn the Russian language but have already acquired basic knowledge of the structure of the Russian two-part sentence, the prepositional-case system of the Russian language, and have a vocabulary of... 600-700 words.
. The second part of the guide contains 9 lessons (12-20, the last one being a review). Mastery of the vocabulary-grammatical material included is estimated to take about 200-240 hours of classroom activities.
. The goal of the second part is to develop students' speaking skills related to solving communicative tasks primarily in the socio-domestic sphere of communication.
. Information is provided on the aspect-tense system of the Russian verb, on the declension of adjectives, possessive and demonstrative pronouns, and ordinal numerals in the singular. Students will master the basic meanings of the prepositional-case system, learn to engage in conversations on topics related to the description of a simple event (narration), and adequately (according to etiquette norms) hold dialogues in everyday communication situations. At the end of the guide, tests for each lesson are provided. The guide has an audio supplement. QR codes with links to the audio recordings are included in the text of the publication. Answers to the assignments are posted on the publisher's website.
