Cheryomushka

The novella "Cheryomushka" tells about the lives of people in a working settlement. They are different in age, but their complicated relationships do not prevent them from expressing feelings of kindness and love. The harsh nature only amplifies these feelings.... Despite sometimes comedic and tragic events, the characters in the novella retain the ability to be surprised and rejoice in life. The story "The Call of Native Blood" narrates what the author experienced in a difficult life without a father and the discovery of new relatives by blood. "Viola" is inspired by reflections on the power of love that drives one to take action, and upon its destruction, one experiences unbearable disappointment; through the meeting with Mikheich, the conclusion is reached that life is good and it continues. "Arbok" is a story about a girl who did not immediately realize what loyalty is.
