The near future. The third world war has reverberated across the Earth. Russia, remaining among the victors, has once again taken the name of Rus and, in order to avoid past mistakes, has lowered the iron curtain between itself and... the rest of the world. The Orthodox Church has come to power, restoring spiritual bonds and traditional values to its people. There are no more alcoholism and drug addiction, unemployment and crime, promiscuity and immorality. But, as we know, the well-being of some always comes at the expense of others. This is not a tale of great struggle and an obligatory victory; it is the story of small people caught in the millstones of History.
