This work undoubtedly belongs to the thriller genre. Boris Orlov is trying to understand what happened to him 10 years ago. To do this, he travels to Paris, where the traces of paintings created by a girl who died back... then lead him. However, he has long been expected in the cultural capital of the world. Boris falls into a trap. Yurovsky is trying to appropriate money from foreign accounts of arrested traitors. In the center of Rome, he loses consciousness. It gradually becomes clear that both kidnappings are connected to events from ten years ago. Both manage to return to their homeland. In Moscow, the confrontation between an ordinary intelligence officer and one of the FSB leaders takes on increasingly brutal forms. Events take place in the USA, France, Italy, and Russia.
