Dream-Life

The action of the novel unfolds in America, Arizona, in the distant future. As a result of numerous wars and ecosystem failures, the seas and oceans, vegetation, and animal life have disappeared. Consequently, human-pokemons have started to emerge, with missing... limbs and many other deformities. One of the heroes of the novel is Jakob. The main characters, who are just such children, are Raff, Lit, Taylor, and Ben, whose IQ does not allow them to study in a prestigious school, so they are placed in DREAM school, where the main events take place. The school turns out to be a giant meat grinder. Most of the children will not live to adulthood. Fortunately, they meet compassionate adults, such as Sandra. A lonely woman, an idealistic teacher. Her life philosophy is close to Jakob's, Grandpa Mitchell's, and Frend's. They meet not by chance. Together, they oppose the evil that sprouts in a person as soon as he moves away from his roots, nature, art, and classical literature. In the chaos of the ensuing catastrophe, they find a way out.
