Historian John Keller was at a conference in a hotel in Switzerland when nuclear weapons destroyed most of the world. People are engulfed in panic. But John remains true to his profession and documents the events following the catastrophe, compiling... a chronicle of his contemporary days. He meticulously records his experience and gathers stories from other guests, hoping to preserve at least the memory of the vanishing humanity. However, many of the survivors have their own secrets that they are not ready to share...
John finds the body of a little girl on the roof. Who among the guests is the killer? Keller begins to explore the vast hotel in hopes of finding the culprit and answers to his questions.
