The Tale of the Luxurious and Alluring Plain.

This edition continues to introduce readers to the literary heritage of William Morris. The great writer drew inspiration from the history of Britain and ancient European epic. "The Tale of the Luxurious and Alluring Plain" and "The Forest Beyond the World" are brilliant stylizations reminiscent of classic British and German sagas and the best examples of medieval romance. At the same time, Morris's unique texts are considered the first major works in the fantasy genre.

The works are published for the first time in a brilliant translation by Yuri Sokolov.
