The Limit of Bortlya

Stars are somewhat like people: they are born, age, and die. Their brightness depends on the surrounding stars. Just like people, they often have a partner. Except for the Sun — this star is always alone. Sergey was an astronomer... and dreamed of making a discovery. One day he got lucky. He breathed in the night mountain air and couldn’t believe that he had just discovered a new special comet. It was special because it was inexorably approaching Earth at a speed of over twenty-five kilometers per second. The comet became a challenge for the world, a test of humanity, uniting strangers across the planet in struggle. There is very little time left until the impact — will people be able to understand who their true enemy is?
