Witness of the Resurrection. Secrets and Unravelings of the Shroud of Turin

The Shroud of Turin will never be considered authentic if it does not have a complete and reliable biography. And although hundreds of biographies have already been written, there remain unresolved white spots. Drawing on the achievements of Russian and... foreign specialists in Ancient Judea, in Eastern Christian literature and early Christian iconography, the author reconstructs the mysterious routes of the Shroud in the first millennium, examines versions of its mysterious disappearance in 1204 and even more mysterious rediscovery in 1349. The second part of the book discusses modern scientific research on the Cloth, the results of which have proven to be no less exciting.
