The Merry German Alphabet. Games with Letters

This manual is intended for students in grades 1-2 who are just beginning to learn the German language.
Its goal is to teach children the phonemic and graphemic representation of the German alphabet, thereby creating a solid foundation for reading instruction.
All... tasks in this book are presented in a game format. The material is divided into 9 blocks, each of which includes 5-7 exercises aimed at introducing, practicing, and consolidating new letters of the German alphabet, as well as reviewing already learned ones. The exercises in each block are built on an increasing level of difficulty: tasks for recognizing and distinguishing certain letters from a series of letters, matching uppercase and lowercase letters alternate with tasks for their written reproduction.
The manual can be used both in classroom work and for individual home study.
