The Cheerful German Alphabet. Games with Letters

This resource is intended for students in grades 1-2 who are just beginning to learn the German language.
Its aim is to teach children the phonemic and graphemic representation of the German alphabet, thereby creating a solid foundation for reading instruction.
All... tasks in this book are presented in a playful manner. The material is divided into 9 blocks, each consisting of 5-7 exercises that involve introducing, practicing, and reinforcing new letters of the German alphabet, as well as reviewing those already learned. The exercises in each block are arranged in increasing difficulty: tasks for recognizing and isolating a certain letter from a series of letters, correlating uppercase and lowercase letters alternate with tasks for their written reproduction.
The resource can be used both in classroom instruction and for individual home learning.
