Death Sentence

In a forest on the outskirts of Vienna, a married couple, who came to their suburban house, finds a naked, emaciated girl. Her entire back is covered with tattoos featuring motifs from Dante's «Inferno». The police manage to find out that this is eleven-year-old Klara, who disappeared a year ago. But the girl stubbornly remains silent about the past twelve months.
Meanwhile, a young employee of the Munich police, Sabina Nemetz, begins training in a course for highly gifted young personnel. Her instructor is the experienced Dutch profiler Marten S. Sneijder. The essence of his teaching methodology is that he analyzes unsolved crimes with the students. Soon, Sabina, along with Sneijder, immerses herself in the investigation of three gruesome cases that, at first glance, seem to have nothing in common. And when a connection to the abduction of the very same girl in Vienna emerges, the boundaries between theory and practice become completely blurred...
