Jack Reacher: Trap

Jack Reacher, a former military policeman, travels all over America after being discharged, enjoying his freedom. But his savings are running out, and he stops in a resort town to replenish them—during the day he digs pools, and in the evening he works as a bouncer in a bar. One day, this measured life is disrupted by a private detective—it turns out that a certain lady from New York is looking for Jack. Her name means nothing to Reacher, and he wouldn't have given this meeting much thought if he hadn't soon discovered the body of that very detective in a dark alley with his fingertips cut off. Who hired this person and who ordered him? Who is being hunted? Reacher feels that he is drawn into this case against his will, and he heads to New York to find the person who needs him. But his journey turns out to be much longer—it will be a journey into a bloody past...
