All That You Wanted

You wake up. Go to work. Sit in the office for twelve hours straight. Attend meetings where incredibly important questions are discussed about how to use hashtags correctly. You drown your anxiety with pills bought online. After work, you go... to a bar, where you order one expensive cocktail after another until you get so drunk that in the morning you don’t remember how you ended up in the same bed with a colleague. The next day, you stay at home and scroll through your social media feed, continually surprised at how others have managed to achieve so much.

And then you learn about a program that will give a hundred volunteers the chance to start a new life on another planet. Without social media, online dating, or online shopping.
