The Red Pill

The real world is not as it seems. Sometimes we feel like we are not living our own lives. As if there is some glitch in the Matrix: we suffer from loneliness, the meaninglessness of life, and do not understand... our true desires. We want to live another - better - life. But we do not know how. The trouble is that we have been told for too long about happiness, success, and love. No one warned us that joyful feelings are fleeting, success seems so only from the outside, and any passion ends in disappointment. That is the truth. Some are ready to choose the "red pill" of truth, while others continue to poison themselves with the "blue" - illusions and ignorance. The "blue pill," by the way, does not even need to be chosen - it is given to us by default. But the "red" one needs to be chosen, swallowed, and experienced through a difficult process of inner change.
