Listen to My Heart

The novel by Bianchi Pitzorno, a living classic of Italian literature, tells about a school year in an ordinary municipal school at the beginning of the 1950s. Despite the time period, the book remains largely relevant to modernity, and schoolchildren... recognize themselves in the students and their school lives. The school year begins, and the 4 'G' class now has a new class teacher - Miss Sforza. Parents of the students idolize her, the school boasts of her pedagogical achievements, but the best friends Priska, Elisa, and Rosalba feel animosity towards her from the very first meeting. But what can a child do against an adult, especially a teacher respected by everyone? And then the friends decide: injustice must be fought against. And although their methods are childishly naive, the sincere desire for justice justifies the means.
