Challenge problem, complex task, call – this is a great opportunity to set a goal for yourself and work towards its achievement. This is an opportunity to clearly plan your actions for a specific period: day, week, month, academic quarter,... semester, etc. It is a kind of competition: who is faster, who is better. The tasks in the challenge notebook are small: 2-3 tasks per lesson. Each lesson is first assessed by the child using smileys, and then by an adult: teacher, educator, or parent. In 4th grade, the child will learn to quickly and correctly solve: – problems on proportions and percentages; – problems on quantity, price, and cost; – problems on finding length and distance, speed and time, mass and volume; – problems on perimeter and area. Challenge notebooks can be used in every lesson for conducting independent work, at home for consolidating the material studied, during holidays, for quick review of a particular topic in the curriculum.
