It is a kind of competition: who is faster, higher quality. The tasks in the challenge notebook are small: 3–4 task examples per lesson. Each lesson is first checked and evaluated by the child using smileys, then by an adult: teacher, educator, or parent. In grade 2, the child will learn to quickly and accurately solve: • simple and composite tasks on addition and subtraction within 20 and 100; – tasks on comparative difference within 100; – tasks on multiplication and division; – tasks on addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers within 100 with carrying over the ten. Challenge notebooks can be used in every lesson for conducting independent work, at home for reinforcing learned material, during holidays, for quick repetition of a particular topic of the curriculum.
