Non-standard Methods of Teaching Literacy: Crosswords and Puzzles for Elementary School

It is no secret that the attitude towards studying is characterized by the desire to learn. The educational material is assimilated much faster and more effectively through play activities. The book presents game tasks such as syllabic rebuses, crosswords, word... searches, etc., with the help of which preschoolers and elementary school students train their reading skills, orthographic awareness, and logical thinking. The tasks can be used in developmental activities in preschool, in Russian language and reading lessons, as well as during extracurricular time to develop cognitive interest and increase motivation to study the subject. Working with tasks helps reinforce the material covered, improves reading skills, and develops the ability to make independent conclusions and inferences.
