Tutor in Mathematics for Grades 5-9

The book is written based on the current mathematics curriculum for grades 5-9 of general education schools, gymnasiums, and lyceums. It contains over 2800 problems, of which about 800 are provided with solutions, while the rest are intended for independent... solving. Each chapter is divided into paragraphs, most of which are accompanied by brief theoretical information and methodological recommendations and includes a sufficient number of examples with detailed solutions. The problems are carefully selected according to the principle of uniformity of themes, types, methods of solution, and divided into two parts by level of difficulty. The concluding chapter provides an analysis and reasons for typical mistakes made by students during exams. The tutor is aimed at students in grades 5-9 for independent review of the main topics of the curriculum, preparation for the OGE, competitions of various levels, as well as students of pedagogical colleges, mathematics teachers, and tutors.
