Snow Blindness

Ari Thor, a young policeman from Reykjavik, arrives in a small town in northern Iceland, where no one locks their doors, — and you can only reach it through a narrow tunnel in the mountains. Loneliness, snow, and the darkness... of endless winter pull Ari Thor into the depths of nightmarish visions, haunted by memories of the past and longing for his girlfriend left behind in Reykjavik. He feels like an outsider in this tight-knit community of people who have long known each other. But when a half-naked woman is found in the snow, bleeding, and an elderly writer collapses dead on the stairs of the local theater, Ari Thor, who is leading the investigation, finds himself at the very heart of this community — and he cannot trust anyone. The past plays with the present, tension mounts, and Ari Thor delves deeper into his own darkness — blinded by snow, under the gaze of many eyes.
