And here's what is revealed: simultaneously with her, five other people have disappeared without a... trace, and according to statistics, such incidents are quite rare. Moreover, all these individuals traveled to Copenhagen because they received invitations from a certain Nete Hermansen… But how are they connected to her? And who is she herself — also a victim or a cold-blooded murderer? The further Carl Mørk and his colleagues advance in the investigation, the more they endanger their own lives. Soon the police realize that numerous violent crimes are behind this case and that the past is not yet dead.
