"Industry: Interbellum" expands the possibilities of the base version of the game "Industry"! Inside the box, you will find new enterprise and industrialist cards, capital disks with variable values, as well as university cards, agent cards for solo play, and all the necessary components to include a fifth player in the game process!

About the game
"Industry" is an exciting economic board game based on the original auction mechanics. During each turn, players participate in bidding, making bids on various production facilities. The auction winner during the turn gains control of the enterprise, while the other players receive compensation. The industrial buildings available to players allow them to process and sell resources. Thus, each of the participating "magnates" earns money, upgrades their enterprises, and builds efficient production chains, striving to achieve the status of the wealthiest industrialist.

How to play?
At the beginning of the game, each player receives a starting enterprise, a random industrialist card, a set of capital disks, and a player token of the corresponding color. The starting enterprise card determines the number and type of resources available to a specific player before the start of the first round.

Each round consists of two phases. In the auction phase, a specific number of enterprise cards are laid out from the deck, and the auction bidding begins. Using capital disks, players strive to make the highest bid on the card of the enterprise they currently consider the most advantageous. Once all capital disks are distributed, the auction concludes: players who made the highest bids receive the corresponding enterprises, while the others receive "compensation," the amount of which is indicated on each specific enterprise card.

The production phase is the next stage, in which players use the building cards they have to obtain and process resources. Based on the conditions specified on the cards, you can earn money for processing resources or use them to upgrade the enterprises themselves. Upgraded enterprises will give you more options for processing resources in subsequent rounds, allowing you to develop your own effective sequence of industrial capitalization.

Who won?
When the production phase ends, the game round is considered complete. The game lasts for four rounds, for which there is a special counter. After the fourth round, each player counts the earned money. The one with the most money wins. In case of a tie, the player with the most enterprise cards wins. If there is still a tie, the winner is the player with the most resources left.

In the game rules, you will also find variations designed to complicate the process for more experienced players. Additionally, it is worth noting the colorful illustrations on the enterprise cards. For many of them, the basis was images of real industrial complexes from the turn of the 19th-20th centuries. They became an architectural hymn to the era of engineers and entrepreneurs, steam and electricity, early automobiles, and transcontinental railroads.
