Norwegian Language. Self-Study Guide

This self-study guide is intended for those who are learning Norwegian independently. It helps develop the speech skills necessary for communication and reading simple literature, and to master the basics of grammar: the lessons of the self-study guide introduce both... the grammatical features of the language and commonly used conversational and everyday vocabulary. Having mastered it, one can easily handle any situation when directly communicating with the residents of Norway. For quick memorization of common speech constructions, carefully read the selections with lexical material accompanied by transliteration (the thematic list is provided in the contents).
In each lesson of the self-study guide, you will find descriptions of lexical-grammatical categories of all parts of speech, exercises for memorizing the studied material, and texts using active speech structures. To check the completed exercises, lesson keys are provided at the end of the book. The self-study lessons are supplemented with a dictionary that can be used to translate unfamiliar words encountered in the exercises.
