This work presents the most extensive selection of riddles from the peoples of historical Russia to date and, as far as possible, fills in existing gaps. Through the prism of the content of the riddles themselves, comments on them, a glossary, and illustrations, it opens up a variety of information about the surrounding world, economic activities, and the history of the peoples of our country.
