The textbook "Introduction to the Country Studies of China" covers the geographical position of the PRC, some events and facts from the history of China, the traditions and customs of the Chinese, etiquette issues, the art of calligraphy, the history... of the creation of hieroglyphic writing, problems of the Chinese family, symbols of Chinese culture, etc. The structure of the lessons, the thematic content, and the selection of vocabulary and exercises, along with additional texts in Chinese and Russian, contribute to the practice and reinforcement of vocabulary, translation skills, and understanding of information about the country of the studied language.
The aim of this textbook is to expand students' knowledge in the field of country studies of China and to develop the professional and general competencies of future specialists in Chinese studies.
