Virginia Woolf once remarked: "Charlotte used all her eloquence, passion, and richness of style to express simple things: 'I love', 'I hate', 'I suffer'." And what more does a female reader need? After all, every Jane Eyre is waiting for her Mr. Rochester and hopes to someday say: "Reader, I married him".
